Freeform Month 1

First off all I'd like to mention I am new to blogger so be nice bitches and also my spelling and grammar is shit, pardon my French.

Anyway back to it, so the reason I have decided to start free forming is because I can't be bothered to maintain hair. I think free forming has to be the laziest hairstyle ever.

I first got into dreads or locs whatever you want to call it about  a year ago, anyone who knows me knows I love reggae music. Mad Max from 'shottas', Jacob Miller, Kele Okere and Thiago Santos definitely influenced me into getting dreads. In the past year Ive been trying to crack how to get dreads but I only got lucky a few months ago. I started off with salon twists and they were bullshit. Don't do it. It was all gluey and shit, just nasty. Through Internet lurking and speaking to a few guru's I stumbled upon free forming and decided to go the natural way.

So what I'm going to do is not cut anything, no touch anything and not comb anything. You must be thinking I'm going to looking like a mess for a while but its natural. I done some research and its all about doing nothing. Just the way I like it. Theres no guarantee on what its going to look like but hey, only one way to find out.

I'm not a pro, I'm learning just as you are if you're reading this blog. Without further ado here is my starting point. Its May 18th 2014, I just want to say that I haven't combed my hair for about two weeks so its doing its own thing.

All I'm going to do is wash my hair 3 days a week with salt water and a bar of soap and towel dry it. I will be wearing a knitted tam to promote knotting, I'm going to be also sleeping on a 100% wool pillow and let the magic happen. I will be updating every 2 weeks and monthly to show my growth.

So I guess that's it bros, again pardon the quality its my first post.
